PIPER: Nate Berkus: The Tsunami Disaster

Had nothing to do during valentine's day so I decided to watch some Oprah re-runs. One episode I saw was that of the tsunami disaster. Oprah opened the show with the statement: "When catastrophe strikes and you know someone in it, it all becomes more real.

It turns out that Nate Berkus, the semi-regular interior designer, who has been a common face on the show if you're familiar with the Oprah series, was at Sri Lanka when the tsunami disaster happened.. I guess I was glued to the tube just feeling emphatic as he retold his tale on how he lost his partner and of the ordeal he had to endure in order to survive. More on the episode here
JOSHUA: Michael Buble, It's Time

Got hold of the new Michael Buble audio cd from tower records yesterday (original, take note). I still have to listen to all the tracks but I'm enjoying what I've already heard. However, the cd player is stuck on repeat on track 3. I think that's the soundtrack of the host right now:

You Don't Know Me

You give your hand to me
And then you say hello
And I can hardly speak
My heart is beating so
And anyone can tell
You think you know me well
But you don't know me

No you don't know the one
Who dreams of you at night
And longs to kiss your lips
Longs to hold you tight
Oh I am just a friend
That's all I've ever been
Cause you don't know me

I never knew the art of making love
No my heart aches with love for you
Afraid and shy I let my chance go by
The chance that you might love me too

You give your hand to me
And then you say goodbye
I watch you walk away beside the lucky guy
Oh you will never know
The one who loves you so
Well you don't know me

You give your hand to me
And then you say goodbye
I watch you walk away beside the lucky guy
Oh you will never know
The one who loves you so
Cause you don't know me

Oh no you don't know me

OOhh...you don't know me
